THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY FOR SUPPORTING THE USPS STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE.  A BIG THANK YOU TO THE POSTAL CARRIERS WHO TOOK THE EXTRA TIME AND EFFORT TO COLLECT ALL THE DONATIONS FROM OUR MAILBOXES, SNOQUALMIE VALLEY KIWANA’S FOR COLLECTING AND TRANSPORTING ALL THE FOOD FROM THE POST OFFICE AND TO EASTSIDE SELF STORAGE FOR LOANING US A STORAGE UNIT TO HOLD ALL THE FOOD.

 The USPS carriers will be providing food collection bags in your mail box the week of May 7th.  This is an easy way to donate food to our food bank.  Simply place your food donations into your mailbox on May 12th and your postal carrier will collect the donations and bring them back to the post office.  Food Bank volunteers are scheduled to pick up all the generous donations Monday May 15th.  Last year we had a record-breaking year and collected 3,200 pounds of food.  We would like to break that record this year.  On average, we serve 380-390 families every week of the year and distribute around 17,000 pounds of food each week.    Help us Stamp out Hunger in the Snoqualmie Valley and consider supporting this food drive.

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored
by Church World Service and organized by religious groups,
businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger
at home and around the world.

The Snoqualmie Valley Crop Walk is a flat 1 mile or 3 mile
walk through historic Snoqualmie.  Mt Si Food Bank will
receive 25% of all proceeds.  Sign up here  today!
