USPS STAMP OUT HUNGER - Letter carriers across the Nation will be collecting food to donate to community food banks. Join in America’s largest one day food drive by participating on May 11. You may leave food in your mailbox and your carrier will collect the donations for you. Our team of volunteers work with the post office to transport all the donations back to Mt Si Food Bank. Last year we collected 3,700 pounds of food. Let’s try to exceed that number for 2013!

CROP Walk ~ Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty is May 19th and everyone is welcome! WHERE: Meadowbrook Farm 1711 Boalch Ave, North Bend, WA 98045 TIME: 12:30 p.m.

There will be a 1 mile walk and 3 mile walk beginning at Meadowbrook Farm in North Bend. You may start a team, join a team or come the day of. Click here to learn more about the Snoqualmie Valley Crop Walk. Car wash fundraiser on May 18th, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at North Bend Les Schwab

Snoqualmie Valley Rotary is hosting their 20th Annual Golf Tournament on June 3rd at the Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Course. All proceeds will go toward Mt Si Food Bank and 1st Rotary Harvest. For details and registration information visit www.snoqualmievalleyrotary.org

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED OUR 2ND ANNUAL EMPTY BOWL & SILENT AUCTION. WE RAISED $8,500.00 THAT WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE FOOD FOR OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED. IF YOU DID NOT HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND THIS FUN FILLED EVENING WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU NEXT YEAR OR AT ONE OF OUR OTHER FUNDRAISING EVENTS.

Over 60 auction items including local art work. Beautiful hand crafted bowls by Snoqualmie Valley high school and middle school students. Fantastic soup and bread from our local restaurants, delicious home baked goodies for desert and entertainment by local muscians. This was a great Snoqualmie Valley event filled with friendships, laughter, caring neighbors and good old fashioned fellowship. Thank you Snoqualmie Valley for defining community.
